It was a Election time, I went to my village phoksing mathillo gaun located upper side from purtighat bazer in Gulmi. At the 5 day stay in there i visited the sisne where i used to go in my childhood days with my mom for farming and cultivating crops.
And now when i visited i felt all alone and no any reason for a memory to smile. Those empty lands reminded me of my grandfather saying; these lands grow the gold for us, so never stop to cultivate them with love and effort. and i thought what could have been done to make these fields filled once again. And what were the reasons behind it.
Mindset of the youths to make a home in town and negligence of the government of Nepal have led this Gold Cultivating land Which can contribute 5-10% of the crops for Nepalese has remained useless for months.

If Government have been little conscious on providing the modern techniques and facilities in those hilly reasons; neither youths have gone to town or foreign to seek the opportunities. When you go to the village around and upper there you can only see aged people who can barely feed the domestic animals in their house.
Only the government is not responsible for that land to be useless but also the youths as they never choose their land to be upgraded or developed but chooses to live in developed land.
