Canada Thrashed U.AE to go to 2-0
By Suraj Parajuli / Posted on February 09, 2018 / CRICKET NEWS, SPORTS
In a showdown of offspinning-allrounder captains, Nitish Kumar's 62 and back-to-back wickets late in the chase trumped Rohan Mustafa's 5 for 34 and an unbeaten 37 as Canada staved off UAE by 23 runs in a tense chase at Wanderers Sports Club.
Mustafa struck with his first ball, coming on in the fourth over to bowl Ruvindu Gunasekera for 21. Nitish led a fightback through a 64-run third-wicket partnership with Dhanuka Pathirana and brought up his half-century off 75 balls before eventually falling to medium-pacer Mohammad Naveed at the beginning of the 41st over. Mustafa then came back to complete his five-for, holding Canada to 209.
Mustafa opened the chase but retired hurt in the fourth over on 6 before Ghulam Shabber joined Ashfaq Ahmed to carry on an 88-run opening stand. The drinks break at the 18-over mark brought Canada back to life as offspinner Nikhil Dutta struck in the 19th over to get Ashfaq for 42, sparking a collapse of three wickets in six balls as Gunasekera claimed two in the next over with his part-time legspin.
Shabber went on to top-score with 55 before he was the fifth batsman out, to Dillon Heyliger. Mustafa returned with 80 runs left to win and with storm clouds lurking, UAE were still a handful of runs ahead on Duckworth-Lewis but Nitish's consecutive strikes in the 43rd over put Canada in front on the calculation for good.
Needing 27 off 36 balls and with only the No. 11 Zahoor Khan left to help, Mustafa began turning down singles before taking one on the third ball of the 45th over. Cecil Pervez beat Zahoor on the final ball of the over with a yorker and his lbw appeal was upheld, triggering emotional celebrations from Canada who are now the only remaining unbeaten team in the tournament field.

Oman chose to bowl first under heavy cloud cover. On a sluggish second-day wicket, Oman's medium pacers exploited the conditions expertly. At the forefront was Kaleemullah, who probed a fifth-stump line and had his first two wickets - Gyanendra Malla and Aarif Sheikh - caught behind. A bigger blow came at the start of the 23rd over when he claimed Paras Khadka after an inside edge ricocheted off the pads into the base of the stumps.
Six batsman reached double figures for Nepal but none went past Sharad Vesawkar's 22, Nepal's top-scorer for the second day in a row. Vesawkar added 36 with Dipendra Airee, before Airee edged Khawar Ali's legspin to slip for 20. Vesawkar fell seven overs later, beaten for pace attempting to pull Bilal Khan. Kaleemullah returned later to help wipe out the tail, having Rohit Paudel caught on the boundary for 14 at the start of the 44th over. A yorker from Bilal to Sandeep Lamichhane finished the innings in 46 overs.
For the second successive day, Aqib Ilyas top-scored with 46 but this time it was in a winning effort. Ilyas neutralized the threat of Lamichhane after he gave Oman a brief scare when he struck in the 11th over, getting Jatinder Singh with a googly for 26. After Ilyas was drawn out of his crease to be stumped by Basant Regmi, Vaibhav Wategaonkar steered the rest of the chase, finishing unbeaten on 37.

Vow To Eliminate Poverty | Provinces 1 & 4 | First Assembly Meetings | Biratnagar and Pokhara
By Suraj Parajuli / Posted on February 05, 2018 / NEPAL, WORLD POLITICS
Feb 6, 2018-Recently elected people’s representatives in provinces 1 and 4 have pledged to take people out of poverty through rational use of their natural and cultural resources as their provincial assemblies held the first meeting on Monday. With this, all the seven provinces have convened their assemblies.
The assemblies met in the temporary provincial headquarters Biratnagar and Pokhara. The historic meetings endorsed the interim working procedures and announced the dates for speaker and deputy speaker elections.
The Biratnagar assembly lasted nearly one-and-a-half hours. The session chaired by senior-most member OM Prakash Sarabagi has called another meeting on February 12 for speaker and deputy speaker elections.
CPN-UML leader Bhim Acharya, one of the frontrunners for the chief minister post, Nepali Congr
ess leader Chandra Prasad Shrestha and CPN (Maoist Centre) leader Indra Bahadur Angbo, among four other members, addressed the assembly. Exchanging greetings and wishes for a successful tenure, they stressed the need to work together for development and prosperity in the province.
The Province 4 Assembly, which convened at Nadipur in Pokhara, scheduled the speaker and deputy speaker elections for February 15. The first meeting chaired by senior-most member Janak Lal Shrestha also endorsed the interim working procedures.
Members who addressed the assembly said they would make Province 4 a “model” and lead it towards prosperity. As its geography borders both China and India, lawmakers said they have plenty of opportunities to develop the province. They put forth their plans to develop Pokhara as a hub for tourism, education and sports.
Prithvi Subba Gurung, Kiran Gurung and Srijana Sharma of the UML, Krishna Chandra Nepali, Dobate Bishwokarma and Lalitkala Gurung of the NC, Hari Bahadur Chuman, Netra Nath Adhikari and Gayatri Gurung of the Maoist Centre, Krishna Thapa of the Rastriya Janamorcha and Hari Sharan Acharya of the Naya Shakti Party Nepal expressed their views on the occasion.
Addressing the assembly, Rastriya Janamorcha leader Thapa argued that federalism does not suit Nepal. “Our party is always against the federal system of governance,” he said.
The province has 11 districts—Gorkha, Lamjung, Kaski, Tanahun, Syangja, Nawalparasi, Mustang, Myagdi, Baglung, Parbat and Manang.
There are 59 members in the province including 27 from the UML, 15 from the NC, 12 from the Maoist Centre, three from the Janamorcha, two from the Naya Shakti and one independent.
Of them, Rajeev Gurung aka Deepak Manange, who was elected as an independent candidate from Manang 1 (B), has not yet taken the oath since he is on the run after being convicted of attempted murder.

I Expressed I Hoped & Finally I Broke
By Suraj Parajuli / Posted on February 03, 2018 / Emotional & Personal Narratives
Guys we got a letter where love expressed but failed, I got a letter and pasted
(no other information than the name and country will be revealed as terms and conditions)
HI Third Eye Club
I know her from at least 5 years but i rarely communicate with her saying hi hello & what are you doing but the worst part all of it is; i type 5 words she type 1 word yes, no or some reply to particular question. Maybe she is busy dating other; but i love her selfless without any expectations from her. I expressed my feeling but i guess was very late. We are just friends but the HI hello also got more shortened which kills my heart every time. I think If she loving flirts with me makes joke and ask me question rather than i ask her; we could make friends not only friends but best friends; Once her reply was no for love; I am not expecting love from her but would rather expect a best friends relationship which i rarely had with a girl. I am totally disappointed that; the word " I love you either makes your life wonderful as it was never or takes away the little you had called hope from you.
I took risk said my words, may be her luck was bad she left me or my destiny is bad i said those words to her whom i rarely communicate with or might be something wonderful coming from here.
