He gave further proof of his prowess earlier this year, when he was the leading wicket-taker at the ICC World Cricket League Division 2 with 17 scalps to his name and was a major reason behind Nepal qualifying for the ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifier 2018 in Zimbabwe. He had a major hand in Nepal gaining ODI status for the first time, when they defeated Papua New Guinea by six wickets. Dipendra Singh Airee; The Hero for the Histories in Nepal

A talented 18 years Youngster from Nepal who represented his country in the 2016 U19 world Cup, 2017 U19 Asia Cup, ICC World Cricket League Championship, Division 2 & World Cup Qualifiers. In his each and every opportunity showed his attitude and enthusiasm towards the cricket playing for the country. Battling, Fielding & Bowling- The best in each and every field, the another star rising from Nepal alongside Lamicahnne under Khadka & team.

With plenty of Dark clouds going around the Nepal Cricket since their journey to Big Stages. Nepal were in such a situation of Do or Die. If they didn't they would have been pushed to 10 years behind than what they are now.

What was the best thing; Nepal did in this period was they always Introduced the New talents in this period with few constant players in the team and mostly batsmen. Nepal's previous coach approached, Pubudu Dasanayake believes in a constant team playing or longer time with very thin changes in the team. Where Nepal's own Coach, Jagat Tamata not only made the new trials but also played the mind games to Make Nepal an ODI Nation. Within this Trails, he introduced the Players from U19 team to play for Nepal Mens such as Aarif Seikh, Aasif Seikh, Sunil Dhamala, Raju Rijal, Dipendra Sing Airee, Lalit singh Rajput, Lalit Rajbanshi, Sandeep Lamichanne etc.

Dipendra Singh Airee

The youngsters proved all of their chances gained; Raju Rijal proved to be the exceptional wicket keeper batsmen in the match against Namibia his senior team debut while Lamichanne also proved his worthy place at Teams squad in the same very match taking a wicket, 2 maidens with the economy of 3.7 in 10 overs of his bowling. While Dipendra Singh Airee and Sunil Dhamala debuted in the Match against Kenya in March 11 2017, in the debut Dhamala quite went unsuccessful justifying himself, where Dipendra Singh Airee quite justified himself with the score of 19 and fielding impressions, Dhamala was replacing Aarif Seikh in this match.

Nepal & the ODI status has been a talk with the start of Year 2018. And all the credits for this talk goes to the Legendary cricketers like Paras, Sharad, Gyanendra, Basanta, Shakti, Sompal, Binod, Sagar & many more who didn't quite gave up to their ambitions for Nepal Cricket and didn't hesitated in giving place for youngsters backing off their place and one of the example is Shakti backing off making way for Sandeep who's legacy is worthy to be written and the Youngsters like Sandeep, Airee, lalit etc. were exceptional in the journey to ODI status for Nepal.

With the increase in Likes of Sandeep lamichanne and Paras Khadka in the International Cricket, it is unlikely to say the players like Dipendra Singh Airee are a step behind of them to be the next star from Nepal to rise in Internationals. As we have seen him play from the Senior Side exceptionally well and with positive attitude. He was also the Lead Hero for the Match against PNG where victory assured them the ODI Status. And in such a crucial match, the worth watching were Sandeep Lamichanne and Dipendra Singh Airee, two youngsters who not only collapsed the PNG batting line up sharing the 8 wickets between them. Also Airee raised with the bat play calm and steadily when Nepal's Great Players were loosing their calm chasing small target in Such a crucial game, Airee stood up and smashed the winning 50 remaining in the crease for not out. Soon after the victory they cliched ODI status. Surprisingly, the one contributing with the bat were Airee, Khadka & Aarif. Among whom two players are under 20 apart from Khadka.

In the beautiful Past 10 Years History of Nepal Cricket, Dipendra Airee is the history that has been named but yet to be written in the History made by him. Let's see who will debut the first ODI Nepal's going to play in Netherlands against the host countries. Will he be among the Players to Debut in Historic Game. Talking about Dipendra Singh Airee, he has that fire in his heart to play for his nation as a hero. He is the same player who in U19 Asia Cup, held the Nepal's Hope till the last ball with the bat scoring 90 against Sri Lanka. Despite Nepal loosing match, Airee was respected a lot for his courage and ambition. He was also the hero of the match against India U19's where he scored 88 and took 4 wickets to win the match by 19 runs in U19 Asia Cup 2017. He is the one of the most talented founds of Nepal Cricket, and has a great future in International Cricket.
